Hello All!
First time posting. Been scratching my head for a bit and could really use your thoughts on this.
I have a new computer (all new parts including the hard drive) running a fresh Ubuntu install.
Using SteamCMD I logged in as "anonymous" and installed the PalWorld dedicated server (steam id:2394010)
After the server installed I changed the name of the server to what I usually call it in the "DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini" file
Once loaded into the server all the old data was there, characters & their inventories, houses, pals, ext.
How is it possible that my old world was save and loaded again?
At first I thought the dedicated server has cloud saves or something but how would it know its me if I logged in as "anonymous" ?
