Hello guys, nice to meet you. I am writting here because I am kind of desperate. I though you guys may have experienced something similar, or maybe this is something that should be escalated to the devs (?)
I bought the (on Windows) steam version of Palworld and I am not able to play the game at all. When the game starts I get a black screen which I do not get past even waiting after 30 min. This screen is a process called Pal in my task manager which has a subprocess called EpicWebHelper that “does not respond”.
I tried every single solution I found from the forums/youtube/reddit, which most say are:
TLDR: I bought and tried everything to make the STEAM version work but I can’t get pass the black screen at startup whereas the GAMEPASS version runs seamlessly, please send help.

- Updating drivers, cleaning them, installing them from scratch.
- Running the game as adminstrator, steam as administrator, the binary inside the steam folder as adminstrator, etc.
- Installing all C++, visual studio, etc etc. Latest versions
- Running in Compatibility mode Win8 and Win7
- Disable full-screen optimizations
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 core)
- 32 GB RAM DDR4
- A320M-A PRO M2 motherboard
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN
- 500 GB SSD for win, game is installed in 4TB HDD
